I suspect the 'pulling figures out of my arse' intercept of Anglo-Irish fame will prove the norm and our banks will prove to be hiding much bigger losses than they admitted to encourage bail out and QE.
There is no sane reason to let these people and institutions produce money by issuing loans. I despair of an answer. Even if we make them amenable to law and investigation, they say this would make them non-competitive. Frankly I doubt they really make a contribution to GDP and we should create a new regional-national people's bank and remove all tax payer guarantee on private banks.

Even the Coop got sucked into a scam buying Britannia and I suspect the bit of Lloyds-TSB they were offered was a sack of magic beans. There should be a criminal investigation there.archytashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14991743176807323992noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35658017.post-32949469018963833702013-06-22T05:40:28.770-07:002013-06-22T05:40:28.770-07:00The basic principle of our monetary system is that...The basic principle of our monetary system is that we are being farmed to feed the money machine.
The bankers are just another cog in this great Ponzi system. There are massive amounts of money available to the Capital controllers to control events to their purpose.
We must not forget that they create & issue money at the touch of a computer button and issue this comodity as debt. So we are enslaved by the system , until a Govt takes control of its money system. The chances of that ever happening are zero as the politicians are also controlled along with their central banks.Salford Ladhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15121806290470017261noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35658017.post-36322212934622539112013-06-21T00:17:42.169-07:002013-06-21T00:17:42.169-07:00Another really great post which echos my sentiment...Another really great post which echos my sentiments exactly. Have just received a copy of HBOS' reply to my FOS complaint and they are still saying they have no duty of care for remortgages.I believe this statement would shock the majority of banking customers, especially those who have remortgaged, but I can't imagine the PBC's report is going to encourage the FOS to take bankers to task over this or anything else for that matter. You are absolutely correct...yet more very expensive smoke and mirrors.lifeafterdebthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00542395196708736628noreply@blogger.com
